Buy me a coffeeWhat is Habit Tracker?
Add a habit, choose how often you want to do it, and tick the days you did it. The streak calendar shows the last 12 weeks, Monday first, and your current and best run are worked out from the ticked days every time, so editing a past day always gives the right answer. There are no points, levels or reminders, and a missed day simply ends a run; the next tick starts a new one.
How to Use Habit Tracker
Type a habit and choose how often: every day, weekdays, or a number of times a week.
Press Add habit.
Press today in the calendar, or any earlier day, to mark it done. Press it again to undo.
Read your current run and best run under the habit name.
Use Export to keep a copy as a JSON file, and Import to bring it back on another browser.
Common Use Cases

Privacy
Everything runs in your browser. Your habit names and the days you tick are saved in this browser's local storage and are never sent to a server. The site records only anonymous usage counts.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is a streak counted?
For an every-day habit it is the number of days in a row. For a weekdays habit it is weekdays in a row, and weekends neither break nor add to it. For a times-a-week habit it is the number of weeks in a row, Monday to Sunday, with at least that many days done. A run is still alive today if the last day it was due was done.
What if I miss a day?
The current run ends and your best run stays as it was. The next day you tick starts a new run. Nothing is taken away.
Can I fix a day I forgot to tick?
Yes. Press any day in the 12-week calendar, up to and including today, to mark or unmark it.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Your habits and ticked days are kept in this browser's local storage only. Clearing site data removes them, so use Export to keep a copy.
Is there an account version?
Yes. WorkBoard has a Habits screen for signed-in accounts that saves your habits to your account so they match on every device.
