Your privacy matters. This page explains what data WebToolsPlanet collects, why, and how it is used. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Tool Usage (Anonymous)

When you use a tool, we record the tool ID and a timestamp. We do not record your IP address, device fingerprint, or any personally identifiable information. This data is used only to understand which tools are most useful so we can improve the site.

Error Reports (Automatic)

If a tool crashes, we automatically capture the error message and stack trace to help us fix bugs. These reports contain no personal data — only the technical details of what went wrong and which tool triggered it.

Feedback (Optional)

If you submit feedback via the feedback form, we store your message, the feedback type (bug/feature/general), and optionally your email address if you choose to provide it. Your email is used only to reply to your message and is never shared.

2. What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect the content you paste into our tools. All processing happens in your browser.
  • We do not use advertising trackers (no Google Ads, no Meta Pixel).
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
  • We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Cookies

We use minimal cookies required for the site to function (theme preference, session). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns (pages visited, general geography, device type). Google Analytics may set its own cookies. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Data Retention

Anonymous usage data and error logs are retained for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted. Feedback messages are retained until manually removed.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any feedback you submitted by contacting us at the address below. Since tool usage data is anonymous, we cannot link it to individual users for deletion.
