WTP WorkBoard
A free task and project planner. No account, and your tasks stay in your browser.
Free · No sign-up · Private
Plan your day. Keep projects moving.
Capture tasks in seconds, decide what you will do today, and group the rest into projects you can see as a list or a board. It opens instantly, works on your phone, and keeps everything on your device.
What you get
A Today view you can trust
See what you plan to do, what is due today, and what is overdue, each task once. Nothing is moved or rescheduled behind your back.
Plan for and Due by, kept apart
Choose the day you will work on something without touching its deadline. Both show on the task, so you always know which is which.
Capture first, sort later
Type a task and press Enter. Paste a whole list and get one task per line, with a preview before anything is added.
Projects with list and board
Group related tasks, then see them as a list or move them across Backlog, In progress, Waiting and Done. Every drag has a menu alternative.
Everything a task needs
Notes, a checklist of up to 50 steps, labelled links, tags and a priority, all on one panel.
Upcoming, two weeks ahead
The next 14 days at a glance, with Overdue and No date kept in their own groups.
Repeats and reminders
Repeat a task every day, weekday, chosen weekdays or month. Set a reminder on purpose. Reminders work while WorkBoard is open in a tab.
Undo and Trash
Made a mistake? Undo it. Deleted items wait in Trash for 30 days before they are removed. Finished tasks stay in a Completed list, grouped by day.
Keyboard and phone friendly
Shortcuts for adding, searching and switching views, and a layout that works on a small screen.
The day you work is not the day it is due
A report due on Friday might be worked on Wednesday. Most planners make you pick one date or quietly change the other. WorkBoard keeps two.
- Plan for
- The day you intend to work on it. It is what puts a task in Today.
- Due by
- Your commitment, with an optional time. It decides when a task counts as overdue.

Type a task and press Enter, or paste a list. It lands in your Inbox.

Do
Open Today, work through your plan, and tick things off. Undo is always one click away.
Start from a checklist
Not sure where to begin? Pick a starter. It becomes an ordinary project with planned days, and you can change anything.

6 tasks

7 tasks
Launch a small website

6 tasks
Private by design
Your tasks, notes and links are saved in your browser and never uploaded. There is no account to hack and no server copy to leak.
Yours to take
Download everything as a backup or a CSV whenever you like. WorkBoard reminds you to back up, because clearing your browser data clears your tasks.
Honest about limits
Tasks do not sync between devices yet, and reminders only work while WorkBoard is open. Move tasks between devices with a backup file.
Questions
Is WTP WorkBoard really free?
Yes. It is free to use and does not ask you to create an account.
Where are my tasks kept?
In your browser, on your device. Tasks, notes and links are not uploaded anywhere. The site only counts anonymous usage, such as how many people open the app, and never records what you write.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your tasks are erased with it, because they live in the browser. That is why WorkBoard reminds you to download a backup, and shows when you last did. Restoring is one click.
Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?
You can open it on both, but each browser keeps its own tasks for now. To move tasks across, download a backup on one device and restore it on the other. Syncing across devices is not available yet.
Does it send reminders or emails?
It can remind you while WorkBoard is open in a browser tab, in the page and, if you allow it, as a browser notification. It cannot remind you when the page is closed, and it never sends emails. A deadline never sets a reminder by itself; you choose when.
Can I get my tasks out?
Yes, any time. Download everything as a JSON backup, or export your tasks as a CSV file to open in a spreadsheet.
How is this different from the to-do app I already use?
It works in any browser without an account, keeps what you write private on your device, and separates the day you plan to work on something from its deadline. If you already rely on a synced app, WorkBoard is a lightweight place to plan without signing up for anything.
Ready when you are
Open it, add one task, and see how it feels. You can always download a backup and walk away.
