What is Censored Image?

Censored Image is a browser-side redaction tool for photos and screenshots. It lets you hide faces, addresses, account numbers, license plates, names, profile images, or any other sensitive region before sharing an image. The edited image is rendered on a canvas and exported as a new PNG file.

How to Use Censored Image

Which censor modes are available?
You can pixelate, blur, or fully black out selected rectangles.
Can I undo a region?
Yes. Use Undo to remove the last region or Clear to remove all regions.
Is the image uploaded?
No. The image is edited locally in your browser.
Can redaction be reversed?
The exported PNG contains the censored pixels, not the original pixels in those regions. Use strong pixelation or blackout for sensitive data.
