This policy covers the Chrome extension by WebToolsPlanet. Use of this website, including its contact and feedback forms, is covered separately by the website privacy policy.
What the extension collects
The extension does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. It has no backend server and makes no network requests of its own. There are no analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Capturing, editing, inspecting, and exporting happen on your device. Screenshots and inspected page content are not uploaded to WebToolsPlanet.
Browser permissions
These permissions support actions you choose and local storage. The extension does not request browsing history, bookmarks, passwords, or blanket access to websites.

Screenshot storage and retention
When the editor is enabled, a capture is saved under a unique identifier in local extension storage so the editor can be opened or refreshed. It is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Captures used only for automatic download are not retained in extension storage.
All edits happen locally in the editor tab. Exported files are saved to your computer using Chrome’s download mechanism, and clipboard content is copied only when you request it. Downloaded files and copies you share are outside extension storage and are not deleted by its retention process.
Settings remain in local extension storage until you change or reset them, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes the extension’s stored settings and pending captures.
Your control
The extension works on the tab you choose to capture or inspect. Screenshots may contain private information visible on that page. Review and blur sensitive details before exporting or sharing.
Policy changes and contact
If this policy changes, its update date will be revised. The extension does not phone home to notify you, so check this page for the current policy.
